Nico'Lee Biddle is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Pittsburgh. Throughout her career, she has worked as a clinical psychotherapist with children and families whose lives have been impacted by the child welfare system. She currently works as a supervisor at A Second Chance, Inc. In her role, she leads a team of both caseworkers and therapists who provide critical support to children in kinship foster families to enable them to thrive.
A graduate of Washington and Jefferson College, (BA, psychology) and the University of Pittsburgh (MSW), Nico'Lee is a speaker and trainer in the fields of trauma and child welfare policy. Her speaking experience includes both panel and individual engagements focused on foster care and specifically the opioid epidemic. Formerly, she was a council member of the National Foster Youth and Alumni Policy Council, a group which exists through a partnership with FosterClub, Foster Care Alumni of America with funding from Casey Family Programs. Nico'Lee has written opinion pieces that have been published in the Chronicle of Social Change, Fostering Families Today, and Teen Vogue. She enjoys using her lived experience in conjunction with her professional experience to help children and families find places of safety, healing, and hope.
